Junk King accepts a wide range of residential and commercial junk including old furniture and appliances. David Donovan says, “We want to make our customers feel like they have welcomed us into their home.” It’s more than a simple transaction. “They’re making a new connection and acquaintance with our team.”

The mission at Junk King is to recycle, repurpose, and reuse as much as possible from every junk haul. This goal is more achievable at Junk King South Denver due to the additional location, South Denver and North Denver, and the relationships with local charities, non-profits and recyclers.

“We will take pretty much anything, except hazardous waste, as long as we are able to recycle, donate, or responsibly dispose of it without a special license,” says David Donovan. Junk King’s mission is to recycle, repurpose or reuse at least two thirds of each junk haul.

Metals are found in household appliances and electronic waste. These metals can be harmful to the environment if they are disposed of in landfills. These metals can be used in other products when they are disposed of responsibly. Metals such as stainless steel and copper are recyclable, while more hazardous metals should be kept away from landfills.
