Coach Roy gives these children so much confidence and goodness! There’s nobody around like him! Nobody! Our son Seth has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Coach Roy for almost 7 months now, and the growth we’ve seen in him has been incredible. He’s gotten stronger, more confident, mentally tougher, and physically tougher. Coach Roy has an amazing way of teaching the kids—not just showing them numerous helpful Jiu Jitsu techniques, but also really taking the time to make sure they understand the fundamentals and provides life lessons with so much more.

Came to their Saturday open mat from 11am-1pm. Professor Roy was very welcoming and friendly. I had a great experience training during their open mat session and got some good rolls in. If you’re looking for quality rolls and good vibes in the Silverlake area, come check them out.

Me and a good friend went out to an open mat to get some rolls in while in town and were treated like family! It felt like being at my home gym and my friend is most likely getting back into Jiu Jitsu after 10 yrs due to this visit because he loved it. Definitely can’t say enough good things about everyone we met and will always recommend them to our friends visiting the area. We will also be back for sure!
