We love this martial arts school! My 5 year old son absolutely loves his classes, and I love that he’s getting great physical activity while also learning about discipline, respect, and character. Mr. Brumitt is wonderful with the kids and creates such a positive environment. Highly recommended!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. Brumitt and his karate program. For the first time, my son has found a place where he feels safe, confident, accepted, and genuinely excited to be. On karate days, he starts asking from the moment he wakes up, “How many more minutes until karate?” That kind of excitement says everything. Mr. Brumitt has been absolutely phenomenal with my son. He has a remarkable ability to meet each child where they are while still encouraging them to grow, challenge themselves, and believe in what they’re capable of.

As a parent, I can’t say enough good things about Tri-Star Martial Arts. Professor Brumitt and Mr. Podis are patient, caring, and truly invested in the kids. They’re not just teaching karate moves—they’re teaching life lessons that our kids will carry with them forever. I love how they explain the “why” behind what they do, so the kids really understand and stay engaged. The program sets reachable goals that keep them motivated, while also teaching accountability, respect, and confidence. And on top of it all, they’re learning real self-defense skills in a safe, positive environment.
